The club runs four senior teams most weekends, with all three competitive teams competing in the Cheshire County Cricket League.

The 1st XI play in the Vivio Cheshire County Cricket League Division Two following promotion in 2017, while the 2nd XI cruised to the UK Fast Cheshire Cricket League Division A title in 2018, with both teams playing their matches on Saturdays.

Meanwhile, the 3rd XI feature on Sundays in the Vivio Cheshire County Cricket League Sunday East Division One. The Barnstormers also take part in friendly fixtures on Sundays.

HBCC has a thriving Junior Section of over 100 youngsters. There are teams playing in the South Manchester Junior League at various age levels. As they progress through the age groups, players are encouraged to move into the 3rd XI and upwards, where the length of game is more suitable for their talents. HBCC also offers All Stars and Dynamos Cricket for younger age groups.

Social functions are held on a regular basis and non-playing members are always welcomed. Several prestigious companies use the club for office matches for staff and clients. The ground is most convenient for them, being a short drive from Manchester city centre. New players of all standards are invited to join.

The club has achieved Clubmark accreditation for demonstrating a child safe and child friendly environment.
