In an attempt to win the Mellor Braggins league next season we understand the 2nd XI, lead by their enigmatic leader Robert Hutton, have been undergoing a rigorous regime aimed at improving fitness – it is understood that Robert was disappointed that the rest of the team couldn’t match his efforts last season and it is felt that this gruelling programme, led by as yet unknown instructors, will pay dividends.
